INTRODUCTION TO TELECOMMUNICATIONS
This course has been designed to provide delegates with a basic introduction to Telecommunications The course is introduced with a brief history of Telecommunications. The design of the modern digital Telephone Exchange is then explained.
The course now looks at the two main parts to a Modern Telecommunications network the Access and Core systems used.

At the end of this class, participants will be able to:
- Understand how the modern Network allows the connection of the Analogue Telephone Lines.
- Understand how a digital telephone exchange switches calls to provide connections for subscribers.
- Know the access protocols used in the modern telephone network
- Know the different technologies provide the Core Network of any Telecommunications Network
